CROYDON COUNCIL PROPOSAL TO MAKE PERMANENT EXISTING TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS - MONTPELIER ROAD, PURLEY
The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting)
and (Free Parking Places) (No. K106) Order 20-The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.K107) Order 20-The Croydon (Traffic Movement) (No. K108) Order 20-
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under Section 6 and 124 of Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to make permanent the existing temporary one-way working arrangement, waiting restrictions and relocation of a disabled bay in Montpelier Road, as detailed below.

(i) one-way working would be made permanent in Montpelier Road from its junction with Biddulph Road towards its junction with Kingsdown Avenue (the section of Montpelier Road between its junction with Brighton Road and the common boundary of Nos. 86 and 88 Montpelier Road would remain two-way);

(ii) the disabled bay in Montpelier Road that was situated immediately south of the footpath leading to Nos. 59 to 65 Montpelier Road would be permanently relocated to a position immediately north of that footpath;

(iii) temporary waiting restrictions prohibiting parking "at any time' in Montpelier Road would be made permanent, as follows:

(a) on the north-west side - from a point 4 metres south-west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 78 and 80 Montpelier Road to a point 10 metres north-east of the junction opposite the common boundary of Nos. 86 and 88 Montpelier Road;

(b) on the south-east side - from a point 4 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 78 and 80 Montpelier Road to the common boundary of Nos. 90 and 92 Montpelier Road.

3. The general effect of the Order would also be to amend the map-based tiles to the Schedules attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the arrangements as they exist on site.

4. A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected on request until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Order was made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order, by emailing parking.

6. The Order is intended to make permanent the temporary one-way working, waiting restrictions and relocated disabled bay in Montpelier Road, which were introduced to facilitate the construction of a new housing development. The permanent retention of the temporary restrictions is intended to continue to preserve road safety and protect sightlines, now that the development has been completed.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984 SECTION 14. AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
AMPERE WAY. CROYDON
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate access to a manhole in order to undertake a CCTV investigation survey and cleaning of a sewer, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Ampere Way.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Ampere Way will be closed south-eastbound between Ampere Way tram stop and its junction with Purley Way.

3. During the closure the diversion route for traffic will be via Ampere Way and Beddington Farm Road, appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on the 03 December 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out over two nights between 10pm and 5am. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle involved in the said works;

(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

MORLAND AVENUE. CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate all utility connections, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Morland Avenue, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Morland Avenue at its junction with Morland Road.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force, the alternative route for traffic will be via Morland Road, Stretton Road and Leicester Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 12 January 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 8 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

SUNNY BANK. SOUTH NORWOOD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a new water connection, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Sunny Bank, South Norwood.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Sunny Bank at its junction with Bevill Close.

3. The Order will come into operation on 07 December 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 4 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

TIRRELL ROAD AND WINDMILL GROVE
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements and parking in Tirrell Road and Windmill Grove, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) Tirrell Road will be closed between its junction with Windmill Grove and the common boundary of Nos. 11 and 13 Tirrell Road;

b) Windmill Grove will be closed between its junction with Tirrell Road and the north-eastern flank wall of No. 43 Windmill Grove;

c) Parking bays in the following locations will be suspended.

i) Windmill Grove - one bay outside No. 42, three bays adjacent to No. 43 and three bays adjacent to the flank wall of Nos. 1-7, Tirrell Road.

ii) Tirrell Road - bays outside Nos. 9, 11, 13.

3. During the works the diversion routes for traffic will be via Beulah Grove, Princess Road and Queens Road, and vice versa, or via Queens Road, Windmill Road and Beulah Road, and vice versa.

4. The Order will come into operation on 30 November 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 18 December 2020. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CHERTSEY CRESCENT. NEW ADDINGTON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC AND PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate crane lifting telecoms equipment from residential properties, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Chertsey Crescent, New Addington.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place,

a) Chertsey Crescent will be closed between No.52 to No.82 Chertsey Crescent;

b) all parking bays in Chertsey Crescent will be suspended between No.52 and No.82 Chertsey Crescent.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 20 January 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 1 day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 LOW TRAFFIC INITIATIVES TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS & NEW PARKING BAYS - DERBY ROAD AND PARSON'S MEAD. CROYDON
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that due to the likelihood of danger to the public during the current Covid-19 pandemic, they intend to make an Order for purposes connected to the coronavirus, which are to prevent obstruction and facilitate a turning area for vehicles adjacent to a road closure installed to give residents more space to walk and cycle, help improve fitness and address problems caused by excess traffic.

2. Whilst the restrictions remain in force the effect of the Order will be:

(a) To introduce double yellow lines to prohibit waiting by vehicles at any time at the following locations.

(i) On the north-east side of Derby Road, between the common boundary of Nos. 2 and 4 Derby Road and the north-western flank wall of No. 8 Derby Road, replacing two permit/pay and display bays;

(ii) On the south-west side of Derby Road, from a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 2 and 4 Derby Road for a distance of 11.1 metres north-westward, replacing two permit/pay and display bays.

(b) To introduce new permit/pay and display bays, replacing existing double yellow lines, at the following locations.

(i) Three additional bays of 5.5 metres in length will be implemented on the south-west side of Parsons Mead opposite Nos. 4 to 8 Parsons Mead;

(ii) One additional bay of 5.5 metres in length will be implemented on the north-west side of Derby Road opposite the church.

3. The Order will come into operation on 11 December 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;

(c) a vehicle being used for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies;
