Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Corsham) (20mph Speed Limit Zone) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit zone on Allard Avenue, Browns Drive, Cathedral Grove, Clubhouse Place, Front Hill Close, Goblins Pit Close, Groundstone Way, Lucas Court, Marsh Grove, Nobles Place and Wateriiole Avenue - the complete lengths. Documents will not be deposited for viewing at Council Offices which are currently closed to the public due to Covid-19. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) Blind lane (Part), Southwick; from its junction with Hollis Way for a distance of approximately 50 metres in an easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out Manhole cover replacement and associated works. Alternative route: via Blind Lane (unaffected length) - Wesley Lane - A361 - Wynsome Street and vice versa. For further information please contact Harry Reed 03456004600 Wessex Water.
B) Falcon Way (Part), Melksham Without; from its junction with Martlet Close for a distance of approximately 50 metres in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to replace manhole covers. Alternative route: via Falcon Way (unaffected length) - Mitchell Drive - Halifax Road -Pathfinder Way - A365 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 November 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 for 1 day. C) Ladbrook Lane (Part), Corsham; from its junction with B3353 for a distance of approximately 400 metres in a northerly direction to enable BT to carry out cabling works. Alternative route: via Ladbrook Lane (unaffected length) - Lacock Road - Thingley Top -Coppershell - B3353 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 17 November 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. Orders (a) to (c) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 16 November 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 for 1 day. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
