Notice of Making of An Order Highways Act 1980 Public Path Extinguishment Order 2020 Bridleway 233 Basildon
The above order, made on 14 October 2020, under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980, will extinguish part widths of part of the length of Bridleway 233 Basildon of variable width shown by a bold continuous line on the Order Map commencing from a point at grid reference 56595,18737 on the access drive to the Essex Wildlife Trust visitor centre running in an east, north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 10 metres along the access drive to a point at grid reference 56596,18737 where it continues in an east, north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 26 metres along the access drive to a point at grid reference 56599,18738 where it continues unaffected. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Robert Lee, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM11QH not later than 10 December 2020. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.
Notice of Confirmation of An Order Highways Act 1980 Public Path Extinguishment Order 2020 Footpath 17 Rochford
On 21 October 2020 Essex County Council confirmed the above order made under section 118A of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the order as confirmed as shown on the order maps is to extinguish a part length of Footpath 17 Rochford of unknown width shown by a bold continuous line on the Order Map commencing from a point where it meets Rochford Hall Lane east of the railway line running in a generally westerly direction across the railway line then across the golf course in a north, north westerly, west, north westerly, north, north easterly, north north westerly, generally south westerly and finally generally northerly direction for a total distance of 445 metres to its junction with Footpath 35 where it continues unaffected.

The route shall be stopped up with effect from 4 November 2020, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 12 November 2020 make an application to the High Court.
Relocation and Upgrade of Crossings -B1036 Mandeville Way and B1007 Staneway, Basildon
Notice is hereby given that under Sections 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Essex County Council proposes to relocate and upgrade the following traffic signal controlled Crossings on B1036 Mandeville Way and B1007 Staneway, in the Borough of Basildon:
Upgrade - Location 1
B1036 Mandeville Way (Southbound): Puffin Crossing (location and width to remain unchanged). The existing signal technology will be upgraded to low energy ELV LED signals. The centre line of the crossing is in line with a point approximately 4.3 metres south west from its junction with B1007 Staneway (Northbound). Relocation & Upgrade - Location 2
B1007 Staneway (Northbound): Toucan Crossing. To be relocated approximately 4 metres south from its current location (as shown in plan ITS0282-10J31 -00-001).
The centre line of the crossing will be in line with a point approximately 30.6 metres north east from the junction of The Knares. The existing signal technology will be upgraded to low energy ELV LED signals. The width between pedestrian studs will be approximately 5.2 metres.
Upgrade - Location 3
B1007 Staneway (Southbound): Toucan Crossing (location and width to remain unchanged). The existing signal technology will be upgraded to low energy ELV LED signals. The centre line of the crossing is in line with a point approximately 46.3 metres north east from the junction of The Knares.

(Castle Road, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order is
1. To temporarily close that length of Castle Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 35m south east of its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in that length of Castle Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford from a point approximately 25m south east of its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 40m

in a south easterly direction for the duration of the above closure only. "The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 2nd December 2020 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7031000979339 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Daws Heath Road, Eastwood Road, High Street and vice versa.

(Cheltenham Drive, Thundersley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice Is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Cheltenham Drive, Thundersley in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Sandown Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd November 2020 for 28 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP2012297371A -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Cheltenham Drive, Lewes Way, Common Lane, Sandown Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 19th November 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hullbridge Road, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hullbridge Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Rawreth Lane for a distance of approximately 60m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th November 2020 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0071000990442 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Rawreth Lane, Chelmsford Road, Carpenters Arms Roundabout, London Road, Down Hall Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 19th November 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Laindon Common Road, Little Burstead) [Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Laindon Common Road, Little Burstead in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 520m southwest of its junction with Noak Hill Road for a distance of approximately 150m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th November 2020 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10003032 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while culvert strengthening works are undertaken by Essex County Council. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Marcos Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 320m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd November 2020 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2305722 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage investigation works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Marcos Road, Crescent Road, Maurice Road, High Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 19th November 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Nevendon Road, Wickford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Nevendon Road, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Wick Drive for a distance of approximately 25m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th November 2020 for 1 day followed by the next 3 Sundays (22nd/29th November and finally 6th December), or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7031000987900 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via London Road, London Road Roundabout, Golden Jubilee Way, Nevendon Road Roundabout, Nevendon Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 5th November 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Lower Dunton Road, Dunton) [Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lower Dunton Road, Dunton in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 140m south of its junction with Main Road in a southerly direction to the border with Thurrock Borough Council a distance of approximately 155m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th November 2020 for 135 days, or where stated on a valid permit (WY001NSA25399 - Fulcrum Pipelines Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas pipe installation works are undertaken by Fulcrum Pipelines Limited. An alternative route is available via West Mayne, Lower Dunton Road, West Mayne Roundabout, Southend Arterial Road, Halfway House Roundabout, Tilbury Road, Bulphan Bypass, Brentwood Road, Church Road, Doesgate Lane and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 5th November 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
