Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close Footpath 42, Stanway in the Borough of Colchester, from its eastern junction with Stanway Bypass, east for approximately 180 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 09/11/2020 to 20/11/2020 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while landscaping works are undertaken and to allow access for machinery.
The alternative route will be via Finch Road, Nuthatch Chase, Plover Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 09/11/2020 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Coan Avenue, Clacton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coan Avenue, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tending, from its junction with West Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th November 2020 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ115193478EA-1 - Cadent). Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Straight Road and Wick Road Great Bentley & Bentley Road, St Osyth/Weeley in the District of Tendring, from the junction with Colles Brook Road to the junction with Clacton Road a distance of approximately 3775m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd November 2020 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2305438-EH2305439 - Essex County Council). (Various Roads, Borough of Colchester) [Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.12) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 12th November 2020, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
