(Footpath 5, Hockley) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 5, Hockley in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Blountswood Road (Footpath 3, Hullbridge), south east for approximately 90 metres to the railway.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 09/11/2020 to 16/02/2021 or where
appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the
safety of the public and workforce while a crane is installed and used for sheet piles
for the ongoing embankment works.
The alternative route will be via around the compound site.
The Order will come into effect on 09/11/2020 and may continue in force for 6 months
or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Footpath 22, South Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given
that the above Order made by Essex County Council, under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has been continued in force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 03/11/2022.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 22, South Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point 9 metres either side of the centre of the Level Crossing.
There will be two Alternative routes available.
Diversion 1: Footpath 22, Bridleway 60, Station Road Footway, Footpath 75, Ferry Road Footway and vice versa.
Diversion 2: Bridleway 60, Footpath 12, Footpath 31 and vice versa. Or as signed on site.
The closure commenced on 03/11/2017 and is required for the safety of the public due to insufficient sightline for high speed trains.
(Lower Dunton Road, Dunton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lower Dunton Road, Dunton in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 140m south of its junction with Main Road in a southerly direction to the border with Thurrock Borough Council a distance of approximately 155m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th November 2020 for 135 days, or where stated on a valid permit (WY001NSA25399 - Fulcrum Pipelines Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas pipe installation works are undertaken by Fulcrum Pipelines Limited. An alternative route is available via West Mayne, Lower Dunton Road, West Mayne Roundabout, Southend Arterial Road, Halfway House Roundabout, Tilbury Road, Bulphan Bypass, Brentwood Road, Church Road, Doesgate Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 5th November 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Nevendon Road, Wickford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Nevendon Road, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Wick Drive for a distance of approximately 25m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th November 2020 for 1 day followed by the next 3 Sundays (22nd/29th November and finally 6th December), or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7031000987900 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via London Road, London Road Roundabout, Golden Jubilee Way, Nevendon Road Roundabout, Nevendon Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 5th November 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Barling Road, Great Wakering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Barling Road, Great Wakering in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 250m southeast of its junction with Rebels Lane for a distance of approximately 85m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th October 2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037R057203991 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole cover replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Barling Road, Barrow Hall Road, Little Wakering Road, Southend Road, Silchester Comer, Silchester Comer Roundabout and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 22nd October 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Chalk Street, Rettendon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chalk Street, Rettendon in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 80m north of both junctions with Warren Road/ Hoe Lane for a distance of approximately 115m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd November 2020 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30039508952 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Hoe Lane, Main Road, South Hanningfield Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 22nd October 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
