DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL (OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2012 (AMENDMENT NO. 2) ORDER 2014

Notice is hereby given that Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under Sections 32, 33 and 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of the Traffic Management Act 2004. The effect of the Order will be that, as at the 19th September 2014, the area of land designated as off street parking places and referred to as Town Hall Car Park in the Darlington Borough Council (Off Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2012 will be revoked apart from the following two areas of land which will remain off street parking places:-
Area 1 - area of land off Church Row situated adjacent to the Town Hall bounded on the north by St Cuthbert's Church, on the south by the Depart­ment for Education building, on the east by the river Skerne and on the west by the Town Hall.
Area 2-area of land off Feethams situated adjacent to the Town Hall bound­ed on the north and west by the Town Hall, on the south by the Feethams Leisure development site and on the east by the river Skerne.
A copy of the Order may be examined free of charge during the hours of 9amto4.30pmMondaytoFridayinclusiveattheTownHall,Feethams, Darlington. If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or any provision ofit,onthegroundsthatitisnotwithinthepoweroftherelevantsectionof the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or of any requirement of that Act or any enactment made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may, within six weeks from the date of this notice, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
