Temporary Closure of Public Footpath 69, Swanage
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along part of Public Footpath 69 (Sydenham Road, Swanage) from grid reference SZ 033 804 to grid reference SZ 034 804, a distance of approximately 30 metres. The Order is needed to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on Wednesday 11 November 2020 for a period of 26 weeks. This Order will succeed the temporary Notice which is currently in operation. This Order will divert the definitive line of this footpath onto the actual used route, to enable the building works to continue in this location.
