EXPERIMENTAL PEDESTRIAN ZONE OUTSIDE A SCHOOL MARSTON WAY, UPPER NORWOOD THE CROYDON (TRAFFIC MOVEMENT) (NO.2) (AMENDMENT NO.1) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2020
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 26 October 2020 made the above-mentioned Experimental Traffic Order under Sections 9 and 10 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 and all other enabling powers, in order to modify an experimental pedestrian zone outside a school.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to amend the permit identifier that applies to the street below from CS12 to CS6. Introducing this measure on an experimental basis allows its effectiveness to be assessed before consideration is given to making the change permanent.

3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 30 October 2020, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order and of a map indicating the length of road to which the Order relates can be inspected until 01 March 2022 (the expiration of a period of eighteen months from the date on which the original experimental Order came into operation) between 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at the "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

6. The Council will be considering in due course whether the provisions of the modified experimental Order should be continued in force indefinitely by means of an Order made under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Any person may object to the making of the Order for the purpose of such indefinite continuation within a period of six months beginning with the day on which the modified experimental Order comes into force or, if the Order is varied by another Order or modified pursuant to section 10(2) of the 1984 Act, beginning with the day on which the latest variation or modification came into force. PROPOSED EXTENSION TO THORNTON HEATH CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE NORFOLK ROAD, THORNTON HEATH The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.18) Order 2020
The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (No.17) Order 2020
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 26 October 2020 made the above Traffic Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to extend the Thornton Heath Controlled Parking Zone Into Norfolk Road:-

(a) Introducing 8 hour 'pay-by-phone/permit' parking bays and single yellow line waiting restrictions operating from 9am to 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, as well as "at any time" waiting restrictions where appropriate;

(b) Existing disabled bays will remain unchanged.

(c) Charges for pay-by-phone parking in the bays in Norfolk Road would vary from 30p for 30 minutes to £4.80 for 8 hours (maximum);

(d) Residents and businesses within Norfolk Road and corner property Nos. 10 and 12 Heath Road may apply for parking permits. Residents may also purchase permits for their visitors to use. Permit charges are shown on our website at

a-resident-parking-permit. A £30 administration fee applies to all new applications.

(e) The general effect of the Orders will also be to amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 02 November 2020, and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA.

4. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from the Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CRO 1 EA.

5. NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER CYCLE TRACKS ACT 1984 FOOTPATH 940 CROYDON CYCLE TRACKS ORDER 2020
On 26 October 2020 Croydon Council confirmed the above order, without modification, made under Section 3 of the Cycle Tracks Act 1984.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to designate a length of Footpath 940, situated between the southern entrance to the subway of Roman Way and points 12 metres east of that subway entrance, then northward for a distance of 23.5 metres and southward for a distance of 62.5 metres, as a cycle track.
Cyclists and pedestrians will share the full width of the cycle tracks with each having equal rights over them. Signs and road markings will be used to mark the start and finish of the cycle tracks, and make clear where the footpath has been converted to a cycle track.
A copy of the order as confirmed, of the Council's statement of reasons and of the plan which indicates the length/s of footpath to which the order relates, can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which this notice was published at at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA.
The order comes into force on 01 November 2020 but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Cycle Tracks Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or of any Regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under subsection 6 of Section 3 of the Act, within 42 days from the date of this notice make an application to the High Court.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14, AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING AMPERE WAY SLIP ROAD, CROYDON
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate street lighting replacement works they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Ampere Way slip road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Ampere Way slip road, giving access on to and off of Purley Way, will be closed between its junctions with Ampere Way and Purley Way.

3. During the closure the diversion routes for traffic will be via Mitcham Road, Trafalgar Way, Turners Way, Dairy Crescent, Purley Way and Ampere Way as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on the 30 October 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle involved in the said works;

(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate access to and egress from a construction site they have made an Order the effect of which will be to introduce parking restrictions in Coldharbour Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place double yellow lines operating "at any time" will be introduced on the north-western (odd-numbered) side of Coldharbour Road, extending from the end of the existing red route restriction for a distance of 10 metres north-eastwards.

3. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

4. The Order will come into operation on 30 October 2020 and may remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate water pipe repair works on behalf of SES Water they have made an Order the effect of which will be to introduce parking restrictions in Dale Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place waiting and loading restrictions operating "at any time" will be introduced outside No. 3 Dale Road, between the common boundaries of Nos. 1 and 3 and Nos. 3 and 5 Dale Road.

3. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) any vehicle carrying out the said works

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

4. The Order will come into operation on 30 October 2020 and it is
anticipated that the works will be completed within three days. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be re-introduced if further works are required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 DICKENSON'S PLACE, SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate the installation of new water pipes, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Dickenson's Place.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place the north-west to south-east arm of Dickenson's Place will be closed between its junction with Woodside Green and its junction with the north-east to south-west arm of Dickenson's Place.

3. Whilst the closure is in force the alternative route for traffic will be via Woodside Green, Dickenson's Lane and Dickenson's Place.

4. The Order will come into operation on 30 October 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately 13 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate access for construction traffic involved in building a new classroom at Kenley Primary School they have made an Order the effect of which will be to introduce parking restrictions in New Barn Lane and Valley Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place double yellow lines operating "at any time" will be introduced in the following locations:-

(a) New Barn Lane

(i) The north-west side, between the cul-de-sac and a point 46.5 metres south-west of that point (extending to the north-eastern end of the "School Keep Clear" marking outside the pedestrian entrance to the school);

(ii) The south-east side, between the cul-de-sac and a point 23 metres south-west of that point (extending to the north-eastern end of the double yellow line marking at the junction with Mosslea Road);

(iii) The cul-de-sac, between the north-western and south-eastern kerb-lines.

(b) Valley Road, both sides between the common boundary of Nos. 151/153 Valley Road and the common boundary of Nos. 157/159 Valley Road.

3. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

4. The Order will come into operation on 30 October 2020 and may remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new gas connection works they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Aberdeen Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Aberdeen Road will be closed between its junction with South End and the eastern boundary of No. 77 South End.

3. During the closure the diversion route for traffic will be via South End, Coombe Road, St Peter's Road and South End as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on the 31 October 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle involved in the said works;

(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
