Notice of Confirmation of An Order Highways Act 1980 Public Path Extinguishment Order 2020 Footpath 48 Ardleigh
On 7 October 2020 Essex County Council confirmed the above order made under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the order as confirmed as shown on the order maps is to extinguish the entire length of Footpath 48 Ardleigh of unknown width shown by a bold continuous line on the Order Map commencing from a point where it meets Colchester Road running in a generally southerly direction for a total distance of 171 metres along property driveways and through a property garden to a point where it connects to the public highway known as Green Lane. Copies of the order and order map can be requested to be posted or viewed by emailing publicpathorders@essexhighways.org to arrange a suitable time to inspect the documents quoting the Order title. Documents can be made available for inspection 8.30am-4.30pm Mon-Fri at Essex County Council, County Hall, E block main reception, Market Road, Chelmsford if so required following the current social distancing restrictions. The route shall be stopped up with effect from 21 October 2020 but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 22 October 2020 make an application to the High Court.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Frating Abbey Farm Road, Frating in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 270m south east of its junction with Great Bentley Road for a distance of approximately 80m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th November 2020 for 1 night (00:30-08:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL731COC-59-74-081120 -Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Green Lane & Cliff Parade, Walton On The Naze) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Green Lane and Cliff Parade, Walton on the Naze in the District of Tendring, from the junction with Hall Lane to the junction with Percival Road, a distance of approximately 235m.
2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in the above length of road for the duration of the closure.
"The Essex County Council (Tending District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stepping at any time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions in the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th November 2020 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000926647 - Cadent). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Lower Green Gardens, Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Station Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a northeasterly direction.
2. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Wilsons Lane, Marks Tey in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Mandeville Road for a distance of approximately 185m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th November 2020 for 28 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD044WAT-06931 -01 - Anglian Water).
