Temporary Closure Of Lee Lane, Bradpole
DORSET COUNCIL Intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along LEE LANE, BRADPOLE, from the access road to Spray Copse Farm for a distance of approximately 100 metres in a southerly direction. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 9 November 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 22 December 2020. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out works associated to the Bradpole flood improvement scheme.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
