Temporary Traffic Management Order - Shore Road, Swanage
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended.
This Order will succeed the existing Notice which temporarily suspends 5 areas of on-street parking on Shore Road, Swanage between Ulwell Road and Victoria Avenue, as indicated by the barriers on site. This allows pedestrians using the footway to pass others safely at significant points on the footway (parking metres, litter bins and crossing points).
The Order is needed to comply with the COVID-19 Safe Start restrictions. It came into operation on Saturday 03 October 2020, will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary. It is anticipated that the restrictions will remain in place until Monday 04th January 2021.

Temporary Traffic Management Order - West Street, Wareham
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended.
This Order will succeed the existing Notice which temporarily suspends approximately 10 metres of the on-street parking area outside Curtis Butchers, West Street, Wareham to allow pedestrians using the footway to safely pass customers queuing outside the butchers shop. The restriction is marked by barriers on site. The Order is needed to comply with Covid-19 Safe Start restrictions. It came into operation on Saturday 03rd October 2020, will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary. It is anticipated that the restriction will remain in place until Monday 04 January 2021. Notice of Confirmation of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order

Public Path Diversion Order 2020
On 9 October 2020 Dorset Council confirmed the above named order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 as unopposed and the Council has certified that work has been carried out to bring the site of the new highway mentioned in article 3 of the order into a fit condition for use by the public.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert part of Footpath 34, Corfe Castle
as shown on the order map as follows:-
From the existing path:
The full width of the Footpath, from its junction with Footpath 19, south west of Corfe Castle Primary School at SY 96248181, east to SY 96258181, then generally east across the access drive to Corfe Castle Primary School and through the car park and garden of The Castle Inn to SY 96308181. Continue south east, passing through the school playing fields and across a fenced hard court, to SY 96338178 then south east to rejoin the unaffected part of Footpath 34, at its junction with Footpath 35, at SY 96348176.
To the new path:
From its junction with Footpath 19, south east of Corfe Castle Primary School at SY 96338184, south south east along a grass surfaced path, passing through the school playing fields and along the eastern side of a fenced hard court to rejoin the unaffected part of Footpath 34, at its junction with Footpath 35, at SY 96348176. The width of this part of Footpath 34 is 2 metres.
