ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 6 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (FREE PARKING PLACES) (PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES) (AMENDMENT No. **) ORDER 201* DISABLED PERSONS PARKING BAYS VARIOUS STREETS THROUGHOUT THE BOROUGH (Reference 20/143)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Order under sections 6, and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The principal objective of the Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order is to introduce a number of parking places for disabled persons where a high level of parking makes reasonable means of access difficult, and to discontinue a number of parking places previously provided where the demand for such bays no longer exists.
3. The Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order will introduce a parking bay for disabled persons' vehicles, operating "at any time" in the following streets: Adelaide Road, Richmond; Albemarle Avenue, Twickenham; Coval Road, East Sheen; Manor Road Teddington; Merthyr Terrace Barnes; Somerset Gardens Teddington; Victor Road, Teddington; Watney Road Mortlake; and First Cross Road United Reformed Church, Twickenham.
4. The Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order will also revoke the existing parking bays for disabled persons' vehicles in the vicinity of the following properties: -
18 Cowley Road, Mortlake; 7 Albert Road, Teddington; 75 Cambridge Crescent, Teddington; 38 Burlington Avenue, Kew; 87 Mill Farm Crescent, Hounslow; 22 Brunswick Close, Twickenham; 15 Leinster Avenue, East Sheen; 65 Kings Rd, Richmond; 24 Silkmore Lodge, St Margarets Road, Twickenham;
5. Copies of the proposed Order, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order:
(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 20/143 at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor),
44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays;
(b) and may be viewed on the Council's web-site at
6. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre,

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Parking Suspension High Street, Hampton Hill
(Ref: 20/144)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate building works they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce a parking suspension in High Street, Hampton Hill.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the three parking bays sited outside Nos. 179-181 High Street, Hampton Hill.
3. The Order will come into effect on 2 November 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 2 November 2020 until 2 October 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Defoe Avenue, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that facilitate sewer repair works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Defoe Avenue, Richmond.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Defoe Avenue, Richmond between a point outside No. 43 Defoe Avenue and a point outside No. 49 Defoe Avenue.
3. The order will come into effect on 27 October 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 27 October 2020 until 3 November 2020 and whilst signs/ cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Lower Teddington Road, Hampton Wick

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate bridge examination works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Lower Teddington Road, Hampton Wick.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Lower Teddington Road, from a point 20 metres south of the railway bridge to a point 20 metres north of the railway bridge
3. The order will come into effect on 27 October 2020. The restrictions will be in force from 21.00 on 27 October 2020 until 05.00 on 28 October 2020 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Lower Teddington Road, High Street (A310), Normansfield Avenue and Lower Teddington Road.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate ducting works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Oldfield Road, Hampton.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, in Oldfield Road between its junction with Station Road to a point outside No. 4 Oldfield Road other than in a southerly direction.
3. The order will come into effect on 26 October 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 26 October 2020 until 28 October 2020 and whilst signs/ cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative e route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Oldfield Road and Station Road.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
