(A72 from the B712 Junction to the B7059 Junction) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (A72 from the B712 Junction to the B7059 Junction] (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 19 October 2020 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of four days between the hours of 08:30 and 15:00 each day. The Order is required for patching works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A72 from the B712 junction to the B7059 junction. The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the A72, A701, A703 and A72 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. (Port Brae, Peebles) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2020
The Scottish Borders Council (Port Brae, Peebles) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 17 October 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 18 October 2020 - 24 hour closure and restriction. The Order is required for blockage clearance works on behalf of BT Openreach. When the Order comes into effect no person shall:
(a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Port Brae, Peebles from the B7062 to Tweed Green. The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Tweed Bridge, High Street Eastgate, Tweed Brae and Tweed Green to the point of closure; and
(b) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on Port Brae, Peebles.
The Scottish Borders Council (Various Streets, Peebles) (Regulation of Traffic)
Order 2000, as amended, will be further amended as follows: the One Way Order on Tweed Green will be revoked for the duration of this Order. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at

(Chapel Brae, West Linton) (Temporary Closing) No 2 Order 2020
The Scottish Borders Council (Chapel Brae, West Linton) (Temporary Closing) No 2 Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 19 October 2020 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one week-24 hour closure. The Order is required for removal of sheds and service connections.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Chapel Brae, West Linton from Lower Green to Main Street.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Lower Green and Main Street to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at
