READING BOROUGH COUNCIL
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) and Regulation 3 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 (SI 1992/1215).
THE BOROUGH OF READING (LONDON STREET. READING) (TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
Reading Borough Council gives notice it proposes to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 and any other enabling powers over an area of the highway being London Street osl08.
The Order is needed to carry out new water mains connection.
If the Order is made, the Order shall come into operation on 23 October 2020 for a period from 17 November 2020 until 23 November 2020. In the event, that the works take longer than expected, the Order will remain in operation for 18 months.
The Order will:
Suspend the southbound bus only lane on London Street in the Borough of Reading (Bus Lanes) (A33) Order 2018 which came into effect on 26 April 2018 and prohibited the use of an area of the carriageway by vehicles other than buses on A33 London Street.
