Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1072 From New House To Knowle Farm, Brilley Whitney-On-Wye, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1072 From New House To Knowle Farm, Brilley Whitney-On-Wye, from the junction Chapel Road to the junction of Pentre Farm Lane. Grid Ref 326199/248967. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1072 onto the C1073, onto the A438, onto the C1072 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to cable installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 12th of November 2020 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
