READING BOROUGH COUNCIL
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) and Regulation 3 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 (SI 1992/1215).
THE BOROUGH OF READING (BULMERSHE ROAD. OUTSIDE NUMBER 3. READING) (TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
Reading Borough Council gives notice it proposes to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 and any other enabling powers over an area of the highway outside number 3 Bulmershe Road.
The Order is needed to carry out new water mains connection.
If the Order is made, the Order shall come into operation on 23 October 2020 for a period from 2 December 2020 until 8 December 2020. In the event, that the works take longer than expected, the Order will remain in operation for 18 months.
The Order will:
Suspend parking and introduce a no waiting/ no loading at any time restrictions outside 3 to 3c Bulmershe Road in the Borough of Reading (East Reading)(Parking Permit Scheme No.l) Order 2019 which came into effect on 25 September 2019and prohibited the parking of vehicles on the street without displaying a Residents parking permit issued by the Council and allowing vehicles to wait between 8.00am and 8.00pm Mondays to Sundays inclusive for a period of no more than 2 hours in the same length of road on any particular day and at all other times by permit holders only.
