NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: A40 From Lower Weston Farm To Ryeford, Weston Under Penyard, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the A40 From Lower Weston Farm To Ryeford, Weston Under Penyard, from Lower Weston Farm to Ryeford. Grid Ref: 363701 /223080. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A40 from Overross Roundabout onto the A4136 via Mitcheldean onto the A40 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 26th of October 2020 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (un less extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.
