Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1207 From B4348 To Gattimer Lane, Dorstone, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1207 From B4348 To Gattimer Lane, Dorstone, from the junction with the C1208, then southwards for approximately 150 metres. Grid Ref: 331064/241809. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1207 onto Dorstone Village Lane, onto the B4348 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to pole testing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 11th of November 2020 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
