NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1234 From Bagwyllydiart To Pontrilas Court, Pontrilas, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1234 From Bagwyllydiart To Pontrilas Court, Pontrilas, from the junction with the C1230, then westwards for approximately 710 metres. Grid Ref: 342290/227655. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1230 onto Gwerngenny Road, onto the A465, onto the B4347, onto the C1234 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to overhead cabling works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come Into force on 30th of October 2020 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
