Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1206 From Crossway To Little Wood Track, Newton St. Margarets, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1206 From Crossway To Little Wood Track, Newton St. Margarets, at Iron Peartree. Grid Ref: 332672/235219. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via C1206 onto C1209 and onto B4348 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to new service connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 28th of October 2020 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
