Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2020 (Prohibition of Waiting (Proposals and Revocation) and Restriction of Waiting on Bath Road and The Hill Avenue, Worcester)
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:
Bath Road (north east side) from its junction with The Hill Avenue for a distance of 22 metres in a northerly direction and 10 metres in a southerly direction; (south west side) from a point 115.5 metres north of its junction with Stanley Street for a distance a distance of 60.5 metres in a northerly direction. The Hill Avenue (both sides) from its junction with Bath Road for a distance of 14 metres in a north easterly direction.
Restrict Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6.30pm:-
Bath Road (north east side) from a point 22 metres south east of its junction with The Hill Avenue for a distance of 109.5 metres; from a point 251.5 metres south east of the junction for a distance of 20 metres, all in a south easterly direction; (south west side) from a point 59 metres north west of its junction with Greenway Drive for a distance of 147.5 metres in a north westerly direction.
Revoke Prohibition of Waiting at any time:-
Bath Road (south west side) from a point 3 metres north west of its junction with Stanley Street for a distance of 42.5 metres in a north westerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. (U51025 Church Road, Worcester)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Proposed Order: to close that part of U51025 Church Road from its junction with U51024 Mayfield Road to its junction with B4550 Astwood Road.
Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by WCC
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U51024 Mayfield Road, U51000 Green Lane and B4550 Astwood Road.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 days. Commencing: 9 November 2020.
(Northwick Road, Worcester)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Proposed Order to close that part of Northwick Road from its junction with Green Lane to its junction with Linley Close.
Reason: Gas Works by Balfour Beatty.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Northwick Road, Beckett Road, A449 Ombersley Road, Green Lane and vice versa
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 46 days. Commencing: 9 November 2020.
(C2264 Appletree Lane, lnkberrow)fTemporary Closure) Order 2020
Proposed Order to close that part of C2264 Appletree Lane from its junction with U43415 Knighton Lane to its junction with U43416 Pepper Street.
Reason: Lay New Ducting by Grub construction.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2264 Appletree Lane, A422 Worcester Road, A422 High Street, U43414 Church Hill, U43415 Knighton Lane and vice versa
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 days. Commencing: 9 November 2020.
(Old Road, Clifton upon Teme)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Proposed Order to close that part of Old Road from its junction with B4204 The Village to Ham Bridge for a distance of 185 metres in a northerly western direction.
Reason: New Customer Connection by Sunbelt Rental Ltd.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4204 The Village to Ham Bridge and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 11 November 2020.
(C2222 Walcot Lane, Drakes Broughton and Wadborough)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Order made: to close that part of C2222 Walcot Lane from its junction with C2115 Stonebow Road to its junction with U47629 Shrubbery Road.
Reason: S278 Development Works by Stave-Con.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Northbound diversion C2115 Stonebow Road to U47629 Shrubbery Road -
U47629 Shrubbery Road and C2115 Stonebow Road.
Southbound Diversion A4104 Station Road to B4084 Worcester Road - A4104 Station Road, B4084 Worcester Road, B4084 Allesborough Hill and B4084 Worcester Road.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 15 October 2020.
(Link Footpath FS019S Silverdale Avenue to London Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Proposed Order to close that part of Link Footpath F50195 Silverdale Avenue to London Road from its junction with A44 London Road to its junction with U52037 Silverdale Avenue.
Reason: Footway Resurfacing Works by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Diversion route - U52037 Silverdale Avenue, U52039 Hillery Road, F50221 Hillery Road to London Road, A44 London Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 8 days. Commencing: 6 November 2020.
(Brown Heath Lane, Martin Hussingtree)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Proposed Order to close that part of Brown Heath Lane from its junction with C2155 Newland Common Road for a distance of 225 metres in a south westerly direction.
Reason: Drainage Works/Flood Alleviation by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Diversion route - Brown Heath Lane, Smite Lane, C2155 Smite Lane, C2155 Hulls Lane, C2155 Newland Common Road and vice versa
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: S days. Commencing: 9 November 2020.
