(Various Roads, High Roding) (30mph & 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 84(1) and (2) and Parrs III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To Introduce a 30mph speed limit on the following length of Rands Road, High Roding in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with B184 The Street, in an easterly direction for approximately 470 metres.
'The Essex County Council (Various, High Roding/High Roothing) (Speed Limits) Order 2007 is hereby revoked. All restrictions shall continue in force by virtue of this order.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 16 October 2020.

Application to the high court Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Bardfield Road, Bardfield Saling/Great Saling) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Bardfield Road, Bardfield Saling/Great Saling in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Hyde Lane the junction Plums Lane a distance of approximately 1890m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th October 2020 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2303502 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage and ironworks are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Bardfield Road, The Street, Blake End, Dunmow Road, Braintree Road, Dunmow Bypass, Piccotts Lane, St Edmunds Lane, The Broadway, Dunmow Road From Bran End To Broadway, Dunmow Road From Lindsell To Duck End, Oxen End, High Street, Brook Street and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 22nd October 2020 and may continue in force for months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Station Road, Earls Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Earls Colne in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Halstead Road for a distance of approximately 250m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd October 2020
for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034843263 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Brook Street, Halstead Road, Fenn Road, Colchester Road, Parley Beams, Stonebridge Hill and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 22nd October 2020 and may continue in force tor 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Braintree Road, Gosfield) (Temporary Introduction of 20mph Speed Limit) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 20mph speed restriction in that length of Braintree Road, Gosfield in the District of Braintree from a point approximately 55m south east of its junction with Ox Yard for a distance of approximately 405m in a south easterly then south westerly direction. The temporary speed restriction is scheduled to commence for 2 days between 19th October 2020 and 13th November 2020, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10003051 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary tor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The temporary speed restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ground investigation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Crocklands Corner/Crocklands, Greenstead Green in the District of Braintree, from its junction wiith Parley Beams Road to its junction with Church Road a distance of approximately 600m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21 st October 2020 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2301061 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Parley Beams Road, Stanstead Hall Road, Nightingale Hall Road, Parley Beams, Colchester Road, Greenstead Hall Road, Church Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 8th October 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until tie works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Damases Lane, Boreham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Damases Lane, Boreham in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 25m southeast of its junction with Main Road for a distance of approximately 95m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th October 2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008190CTEAZLY298 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary tor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Damases Lane, Main Road, London Road, Mowden Hall Lane and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 8th October 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Silver Street, Silver End) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Silver Street, Silver End in the District of Braintree from its junction with Broadway to its junction with Boars Tye Road a distance of approximately 340m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th October 2020 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2301307 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary tor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Broadway, Temple Lane, Boars Tye Road, Sheepcotes Lane and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 8th October 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
