Temporary Closure Of Village Road, Bradpole
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along VILLAGE ROAD, BRADPOLE between its junction with A3066 and its junction with Fishweir Lane, a distance of approximately 20 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 23 October 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 3 November 2020. This Order will enable Western Power Distribution, safe access to to complete a substation change which was stopped due to COVID-19
An alternative route will be signed using: A3066 - Townsend Way - Mangerton Lane -Village Road

Temporary Closure Of West Bay Road, Bridport
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along West Bay Road, Bridport between its junction with Wanderwell and its junction with Roundham Gardens, a distance of approximately 130 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 2 November 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 24 December 2020 This Order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to rebuild 3 manhole chambers incorporating over pumping.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; B3157 - Station Road -West Bay Road
