Children usually attend their catchment school. However, parents may make a written request to place their child in any school under the management of an education authority. Such a request is known as a placing request. Application forms for Renfrewshire schools are available on our website

Parents of children due to start school in August 2021, whether or not they wish to make a placing request, should follow the instructions on the registration of children, which will be published in the press, during the week commencing 19 October 2020.
Placing requests for all schools, for session beginning August 2021, should be sent to children's services by .
