Temporary Closure of Village Road, Bradpole
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along VILLAGE ROAD, BRADPOLE between its junction with A3066 and its junction with Fishweir Lane, a distance of approximately 20 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 23 October 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 3 November 2020. This Order will enable Western Power Distribution, safe access to complete a substation change which was stopped due to C0VID19. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; A3066 - Townsend Way -Mangerton Lane - Village Road.
