(Clacton Road, Wix) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Clacton Road, Wix in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 65m north of its junction with Harwich Road for a distance of approximately 65m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th October 2020 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30045564656 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Clacton Road, Colchester Road, Honeypot Lane, Bradfield Road, Spinnels Lane, Wix Road, Heath Road, Cansey Lane, Steam Mill Road, Horsley Cross Roundabout, A120 J B1035 Roundabout, Wix Bypass, A120 From J B1035 To J B1352 and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 24th September 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Dedham Road, Lawford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dedham Road, Lawford in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 380m north of its junction with Harwich Road for a distance of approximately 115m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th October 2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008IBBFL9HN01 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken byBT.
An alternative route is available via Dedham Road, Harwich Road, Coggeshall Road, Long Road East, Jupes Hill, Mill Hill and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 25th September 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Mistley/Bradfield/Wix/Wrabness/Ramsey) (Temporary Suspension of Prohibition of HGVs) & (Main Road, Harwich) (Temporary Suspension of Weight Restriction) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily suspend the Prohibition of HGV's in those lengths of Clacton Road, Mistley/Steam Mill Road, MistJey/Steam Mill Road, Bradfield/Heath Road, Bradfield/The Street, Bradfield/Harwich Road, Bradfield, Lonbam Hill, Bradfield/ Spinnels Hill, Wix/Harwich Road, Wrabness/Wrabness Road, Wrabness/Wrabness Road, Ramsey/Lunnish Hill, Ramsey/Wrabness Road, Ramsey and Main Road, Ramsey as detailed in 'The Essex County Council (North East Essex) (Prohibition of Heavy Commercial Vehicles) (Variation) Order 1994.
2. To temporarily suspend the weight restriction order on that length of Main Road, Harwich from its junction with Oakley Road to its junction with Franks Road as detailed in the 'Essex County Council (Main Road and Clarkes Road, Dovercourt) Weight Restriction Order 1993.
The suspensions are scheduled to commence on 5th October 2020 for 62 nights (21:30 -05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (FN40612675515 - Highways England). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The suspensions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while resurfacing of A120 works are undertaken by Highways England. The Order will come into effect on 24th September 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Wix Road, Ramsey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Wix Road, Ramsey in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Tinker Street for a distance of approximately 125m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21 st September 2020 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC111WAMCNN7B003 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Tinker Street, A120 From J B1035
To J B1352, Ramsey Roundabout, A120 J B1352 Roundabout, Main Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 18th September 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
