Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to: Close temporarily to all traffic: Clearwood (Part), Dilton Marsh; from its junction with B3099 Clivey for a distance of approximately 110 metres in a southerly direction. And to temporarily introduce a 40mph speed restriction on the following length of road: B3099 Clivey (Part), Dilton Marsh; from its junction with Clearwood for a distance of approximately 50 metres in a easterly and westerly direction each side of the junction to enable BT to carry out cabling and associated works. Alternative route: via Clearwood (unaffected length) - Stormore - B3099 Clivey and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 13 October 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Footpath 15, Westbury; from north of the railway line heading in a generally westerly direction approximately 580 metres to its junction with Footpath 60, Westbury to enable Construction in the area around the right of way and underground mains drainage works. Alternative routes: An alternative route can be found around the southern boundary of the field. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 21 September 2020 and the closure will be required for 06 months. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months. Alternative route: via B3107 (unaffected length) - B3105 - B3109 and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 18 August 2020 will now recommence on 22 September 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 until 23 September 2020. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.
