Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1235 From Orcop Hill To The White House, Orcop, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1235 From Orcop Hill To The White House, Orcop, from the property Coles Tump to the property Meadowside. Grid Ref: 346550/228010. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via C1235 onto the A466, onto the C1234, onto the C1235 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to overhead cabling works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 28th of September 2020 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
