NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1129 From C1130 To Junction With Veldo Lane, Withington, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1129 From C1130 To Junction With Veldo Lane, Withington, from the junction with Veldo Lane, then souteast for approximately 760 metres. Grid Ref: 356055/243661. The alternative route for those affected by trie proposal is via the C1129 onto the C1130, onto Withies Road, onto the A4103, onto the A465, onto the C1129 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to pole testing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 30th of September 2020 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
