SCHOOL STREETS - VARIOUS STREETS

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 16 September 2020 made the above Order under sections 9 and 10 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order is to introduce School Streets in the lengths of roads and at the times specified the Schedule to this Notice. The lengths of roads detailed will be closed to vehicles, except for those exempted by the Council, on the days and times stated, during school term time.
3. Copies of the Order which comes into force on 81 September 2020, a plan showing the location and effect of the Order and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order: -
(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 20/133, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices.
4. In pursuance of section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Assistant Director, Traffic and Engineering of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, as the specified officer, or some person authorised in that behalf by that officer may, if it appears to that officer or to that person essential in the interests of the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of traffic, or of the provision of suitable and adequate parking facilities on the highway, or for preserving or improving the amenities of the areas through which the roads affected by the Order runs, modify or suspend the Order or any provision thereof.
5. If the provisions of the Order continue in operation for a period of not less than six months, the Council will consider in due course whether the provisions should be reproduced and continued in force indefinitely by means of an Order under section 6 of the said Act of 1984. Persons wishing to object to or support the making of such an Order for the purpose of such reproduction and continuation in force may, within the period of six months referred to above (i.e. by 2 April 2021) send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds of that objection to the address below.
6. Please address any representations to this Order to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ, or email Trafficandengineering® richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk.
7. If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Waiting Restricitons Hanworth Road, Whitton

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms work, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Hanworth Road, Whitton.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the following lengths of road: -
(a) Hanworth Road, from a point outside No. 682a to a point outside No. 688a Hanworth Road;
(b) Curtis Road, from its junction with Hanworth Read for a distance of 20 metres;
(c) Wavery Road, from its junction with Hanworth Road for a distance of 20 metres.
3. The order will come into effect on 27 September 2020. The restrictions will be in force between 9am and 5pm on
27 September 2020 only and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works, they have nade a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Blandford Road, Teddington.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Blandford Road, from a point outside No. 55 Blandford Road to a point outside No. 93 Blandford Road.
3. The order will come into effect on 21 September 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 21 September 2020 until 5 October 2020 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 16 September 2020 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended/
2. The general effect of the White Hart Lane Places Order is to introduce a Controlled Parking Zone in the White Hart Lane area in lengths of. Buxton Road, Charlesworth Place, Eleanor Grove, Fitzgerald Avenue, Lodge Avenue, Priests Bridge, Priory Gardens, Rosslyn Avenue, South Worple Avenue, South Worple Way, The Elms, The Retreat, Treen Avenue, Tudor Gardens, Upper Richmond Road, Upper Richmond Road West Vine Road White Hart Lane and Woodlands Road. The zone will operate between 10am and Noon Mondays to Fridays inclusive.
3. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order is to introduce waiting restrictions in various lengths of the roads within the zone operating at any time and between 10am and 4.30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.
4. The sole purpose of these Orders is to replicate and continue in force indefinitely the provisions of The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (White Hart Lane) (Parking Places) (No. 1) Experimental Order 2019; The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (Parking Places) (Supplementary Provisions) (Permits) (No. 2) Experimental Order 2019; The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Civil Enforcement Area) (No. 3) Experimental Order 2019 and The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (On-Street Parking Places) (Parking Charges) (No. 1) Experimental Order 2019.
5. Within the zone, there will be designated permit holder only parking places where only vehicles which display a valid resident's permit, a valid business permit, a residents' visitor permit, a multi-zone business permit or an operational permit may park during the controlled hours.
6. Copies of the Orders which come into force on 18 September 2020, a plan showing the location and effect of the Orders and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Orders: -
(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 19/032, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Collingwood Close, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a gas connection, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Collingwood Close, Twickenham.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Collingwood Close, from a point outside No 1 Collingwood Close to a point outside No. 7 Collingwood Close.
3. The order will come into effect on 21 September 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 21 September 2020 until 24 September and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closures will be available via Nelson Road.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
