FELSTEAD ROAD (D2266) EPSOM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
ON 16 September 2020 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL MADE the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and 1 S(8)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"). The effect of which Is to temporarily prohibit all vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Felstead Road (D2266) Epsom. Traffic will be diverted via Longmead Road and Blenheim Road, Epsom.
The Order is required because of likelihood of danger to the public and for safe management of the community recycling centre. This will commence on 23 September 2020 for a period of 15 months and continues in force the provisions introduced by the "Surrey County Council Felstead Road (D2266) Epsom Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Notice (No.3) 2020" issued under S14(2) of the Act on 3 September 2020. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, businesses, pedestrians, cyclists and the emergency services will be maintained at all times.
