(B6288 MERRINGTON LANE. SPENNYMOOR) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2020

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 530m of B6288 Merrington Ln, Spennymoor from junc with Front St in a southerly direction to Vyners Close roundabout to enable Section 278 works including road widening and the installation of tucan and pedestrian crossings works to be undertaken. An alt route will be signposted from the north eastern side of the closure from A688/St Andrews Ln roundabout junc in a westerly direction on A688 to C152 roundabout junc, then south easterly on C152 to the south western side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 28/9/2020 and are anticipated to be completed in 60 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.

flJNC ROAD 24.2 HARELAW BRIDGE. WOLSINGHAM) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2020

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on up to a 185m of unc Rd numbered 24.4 at Harelaw Bridge road that extends south from A689 west of Wokingham to enable bridge inspection and temp scour-prevention works to be undertaken. There is no alt route available to vehicular traffic during the closure times but emergency vehicle access will be permissible. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 22/9/2020 & are anticipated to be completed in 2 days between 9am & noon and 1pm & 4pm per day. On occasions, alt dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
