Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U65606, Paunton Lane, Bishops Frame, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U65606, Paunton Lane, Bishops Frame, either side of Paunton Bridge. Grid Ref: 367062/250172. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Gosty Lane onto the B4214 onto Kingstone Lane onto the C1135 onto Paunton Lane and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to rural fibre installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 21st of September 2020 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
