NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1098 From Lulham Cottage To Madley, Lulham Madley, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1098 From Lulham Cottage To Madley, Lulham Madley, from the junction with Handleys Cross Road to the Bage Farm. Grid Ref: 341273/240324. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1098 onto the B4352, onto the C1192, onto the C1191, onto the C1098 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to pole testing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 24th of September 2020 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
