Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1122 From A49 To Wellington Crossing, Wellington, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1122 From A49 To Wellington Crossing, Wellington, 50 metres either side of the level crossing. Grid Ret 351134/248110. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1122 onto the C1120, onto the A49, onto the C1122 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to level crossing maintenance works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 26th of September 2020 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 nights.
