Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as the highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: A44 From Headbrook Roundabout To C1081, Lyonshall, Temporary Speed Restriction Order, to temporarily restrict the speed of vehicles to 20 MPH on the A44 From Headbrook Roundabout To C1081, Lyonshall, from the A44 Kington Bypass to the A4112 west of Monkland.
The said restriction is required due to slowing of traffic through traffic signal site during fibre works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said restriction will come into force on 25th of September 2020 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.
