Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U93627, West Street, Leominster, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U93627, West Street, Leominster, the junction of High Street to the junction of Foundary Place. Grid Ref: 349612/258980. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via High Street onto Westbury Street, Dishley Street, Cursneh Rd onto Rainbow Street and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to replace manhole cover and frame works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 23rd of September 2020 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
