Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Smith Close Footpath, Pewsey; from its junction with Vale Road to its junction with Smith Close to enable Spire House Developments to carry out a sewer connection and upgrade the footpath. Alternative route: via Smith Close - Nether Leaze - Vale Road and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 14 September 2020 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 09 October 2020. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. 05 October 2020 and the closures will be required as follows; a) 05 October 2020 until 09 October 2020; b) 12 October 2020 until 23 October 2020; c) 19 October 2020 until 30 October 2020; d) 26 October 2020 until 06 November 2020; e) 02 November 2020 until 13 November 2020.
