Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2020 [Prohibition of Waiting (Proposals and Revocation), Restriction of Waiting, Limited Waiting, Resident/Visitor Permit Holders Only Parking and Disabled Persons' Parking Places on Various Roads (Arboretum), St Stephens Electoral Division Area, Worcester] AND The County of Hereford and Worcester (Various Roads, Arboretum Area, Worcester) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 1985 (Revocation) Order 2020 On 27 August 2020 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to vary waiting restrictions on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester as follows:-

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which
provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting
prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to
allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by
disabled persons' vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 18 September 2020.

(Gillam Street, Worcester)fJemporary Closure) Order 2020 Order made: to close that part of Gillam Street from its junction with Laslett Street to its junction with Vigornia Avenue. Reason: Water Leak/Burst Main by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Gillam Street, Mayfield Avenue, C2294 Lansdowne Road, Laslett Street and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 15 September 2020.
[B4550 Astwood Road, Worcesterjpemporary Closure) Order 2020
Order made: to close that part of B4550 Astwood Road from its junction with U51026 Vauxhall Street to its junction with U51024 Mayfield Road.
Reason: Hydrant replace/renew lid by Severn Trent Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

[U53004 Silver Street, A38 City Walls (Northbound), B4205 St Martins Gate, Worcester)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Proposed Order to close that part of Various Roads, Worcester, in three phases:-
(a) U53004 Silver Street (closed in both directions) - from its junction with U503030 Lowesmoor to it junction with A38 City Walls Road.

Diversion route - B4205 Pheasant Street, B4205 St Martins Gate and A38 City Walls Road.
(b) A38 City Walls Road (northbound only) - from its junction with A38 City Walls Roundabout to its junction with Corn Market. Diversion route - A38 St Nicholas Street, A38 Foregate Street, A449 Castle Street, A449 Croft Road, A44 Dolday, A44 All Saints Road, A44 Deansway, A44 College Street and A38 City Walls Road.

(c) B4205 St Martins Gate (closed in both directions) - from its junction with A38 City Walls Road to its junction with U53003 St Pauls Street.

Diversion route 1 - B4205 Pheasant Street, U53030 Lowesmoor, U53030 Silver Street and A38 City Walls Road. Diversion route 2 - U53003 St Pauls Street, U53003 Foundry Street, U53017 Carden Street and A38 City Walls Road. Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing Works by JLES Central. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Please see notes section below and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days. Commencing: 5 October 2020.
[Footpaths TB-557 & TB-558, Tibberton)(Temporary Closure Order) 2020
Proposed Order to close Footpaths TB-557 8. TB-558, Tibberton for their entire lengths.
The Order is being made to renew a high output track Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary worb to be undertaken. No alternative route available.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 37 days commencing on 3 October 2020.
(C2066 Cobblers Comer, Wichenford)(Temporary Closure] Order 2020
Proposed Order to close that part of C2066 Cobblers Corner from its junction with C2252 Broadwas to its junction with U64615WoodEndLane.
Reason: New/Replacement Water Main by Severn Trent water. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U64615 Wood End Lane, C2252 Broadwas and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 6 October 2020.
[Stonepit Lane, InkberrowJfTemporary Closure) Order 2020 Order made: to close that part of Stonepit Lane from its junction with C2051 Withybed Lane to its junction with A422 High Street.
Reason: Footway Reconstruction Works by WCC Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A422 High Street, U43412 Stockwood Lane, C2051 Withybed Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 14 days. Commencing: 15 September 2020.
[A44 Bull Ring, A44 Tybridge Street and A449 Bromwich Road (Northbound), Worcester)(Temporary Closure and Suspension of One-Way Closure) Order 2020 Order made: to close that part of the A44 Bull Ring, A44 Tybridge Street and A449 Bromwish Road in 3 phases:-
A44 Bull Ring - from its junction with U54254 Bromwich Lane and A44 Tybridge Street.
Part of A44 Tybridge Street - from its junction with A44 Bull Ring for a distance of 50 metres.
Part of A449 Bromwich Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 50 metres to its junction with A44 Tybridge Street. The Order will temporarily suspend the City of Worcester (Various Streets) (One-Way Traffic) (No.4) Order 1970 - section 32 New Road, between Hylton Road and Bromwich Road, second schedule for approximately 60 metres in a north easterly direction for the duration of the works. Reason: Carriageway surfacing, road markings and traffic signal loops works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Traffic route - to be diverted southbound from A44 New Road, A449 Bromwich Road, A449 Malvern Road, A449 The Village, A4440 Hams Way, A4440 Grove Way, A44 Bromyard Road, A44 St Johns, A44 Bull Ring and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 nights. Commencing: 14 September 2020.
[U52309 Green Hill London Road, Worcester)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Order made: to close that part of U52309 Green Hill London
Road from its junction with U52316 Green Hill Place to its
junction with U52309 St Dunstans Crescent.
Reason: Hydrant replace/renew lid by Severn Trent.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting
the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and
to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U52309 St Dunstans Crescent, U52131
Battenhall Road, A44 London Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

[C2065 Lulsley)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020 Order made: to close that part of C2065 Lulsley, from its junction with A44 Bromyard Road to its junction with C2065 to Knightwick Road.
Reason: New Customer Connection by A-Plant Lux. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2065 Knightwick Road, C2065 Knightwick Road to Hopton Lane, C2065 Hopton Lane to Brockamin, C2065 Brockamin, C2065 Brockamin to A4103 Bransford, A4103 Bransford, A44 Bromyard Road, A44 Broadwas, A44 Doddenham, A44 Darbys Green, A44 Bromyard Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 15 September 2020.
[C2026 Shelsley Walsh, Stanford with Orleton)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Order made: to close that part of C2026 Shelsley Walsh from its junction with Furnace Farm for a distance of 150 metres in a southerly direction.
Reason: Embankment Stabilisation by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2026 Stanford Bridge, B4203 Stanford Bridge, C2228 Pard House Lane, C2228 Shelsley Beauchamp, C2026 Shelsley Walsh and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 22 days. Commencing: 14 September 2020.
[Albany Road, Worcester)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020 Proposed Order to close that part of Albany Road from its junction with Vicar Street to its junction with Tunnel Hill. Reason: Remove abandoned hardware by Amey TMA. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the worb to be undertaken. Diversion route - Tunnel Hill, Vicar Street and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 1 October 2020.
[C2105 Quay Lane to High Green, Severn Stoke)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Proposed Order to close that part of C2105 Quay Lane to High Green from its junction with A38 Severn Stoke Bank to its junction with C2056 Kerswell Green to High Green. Reason: Duct Clearance by Barden Network Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the worb to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2056 Kerswell Green to High Green, C2056 Kerswell Green, C2056 The Nash, A38 Main Road, A38 Clifton, A38 Sandford, A38 Severn Stoke, A38 Severn Stoke Bank and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 5 October 2020.
