ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
A49 Winwick Road and Mill Lane (Prohibition of Driving, Clearway and Suspension) Temporary Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be as follows:- Temporary Prohibition of Driving & Clearway - A49 Winwick Rd (northbound) - From Cromwell Ave to M62 junction 9 Roundabout; Mill Lne - From its junction with Winwick Rd for 50 metres. Temporary Suspension of Hie Borough of Warrington (Various Roads in Burtonwood and Winwick) (7.5 Tonne Weight Limit) Consolidation Order 2018 in so far as it relates to Schedule 2 - 7.5T Weight Limit on Mill Lane, Watery Lane and Hollins Lane. The Order will be effective from 5th October 2020 for 5 weeks between 7pm and 1 am, when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Cromwell Ave, Calver Rd, Mill Ln, Watery Ln, Hollins Ln and A49 Newton Rd. The restrictions are required for carriageway surfacing. Ref: High/2105
Gorsey Lane. Warrington (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Gorsey Lane from the railway bridge for a distance of 20 metres in a northwest direction, and 20 metres in a southeast direction. The Order will be effective on Sunday 27th September 2020 between 9am and 3pm as and when signs are in place on site. The alternative route will be via O'Leary Street, Marsh House Lane and vice versa. The closure is required to allow network rail to carry out a safety examination of the railway bridge Ref: High/2155
Lovely Lane Passageway Rear of 243 to 341 (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Lovely Ln Passageway rear of 243 to 341 from its junction with Lovely Ln Passageway Gable of 275 to its junction with Lovely Ln Passageway Gable of 301. The Order will be effective from Tuesday 15th September 2020 for a period of 2 weeks as and when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Lovely Ln Passageway Gable of 275, Lovely Lane, Lovely Ln Passageway Gable of 301 and vice versa. The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry out sewer repair works. Ref: High/2138
White Street Warrington (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on White St from its junction with Dixon St to its junction with Parker St passageway rear of 8 to 34. The Order will be effective from Tuesday 15th September 2020 for a period of 2 weeks as and when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Dixon St, Sankey St and Parker St. The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry out sewer repair works. Ref: High/2137
South Lane, Warrington (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2020 Notice Is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect to which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on South Lane from the Borough Boundary with Halton for a distance of 60 metres in a south easterly direction. The Order will be effective from 8:00pm Saturday 12th September 2020 to 8:00am on Sunday 13 September and from 8:00pm on Saturday 19 September to 8:00am on Sunday 20 September as and when the signs are in place on site. The alternative route will be via Derby Road Roundabout, Watkinson Way, Fiddlers Ferry Road, Dans Road, Widnes Road and vice versa. The closure is required to allow Network Rail to carry out survey works to the railway bridge. Ref: High/2149
New Cut Lane TPT. Warrington (Footway Closure) Temporary Order 2020 Notice Is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a footway closure for footpath 5 from its junction with Larkfield Avenue for a distance of approx. 500m in an easterly direction and for footpath 21 from its junction with New Cut Lane to its junction with Bridge Lane. The Order will be effective from 11 September 2020 for 6 weeks. The alternative route for footpath 5 will be via Larkfield Avenue, Manchester Road, New Cut Lane. The alternative route for footpath 21 will be via New Cut Lane, Manchester Road, Bridge Lane. The closure is required for enhancement and resurfacing of the public right of way. Ref: High/2152
Various Roads in Great Sankey North (Prohibition of Driving and Clearway) Temporary Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 23rd July 2020. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: Entire lengths of road: Henderson Close; Greenway; North View; Chestnut Avenue; Laburnum Lane - From Liverpool Road to a point 50 metres south of Friends Lane. The Order was to be effective from 17th August 2020 for 5 weeks, however due to delays on site the works are now required to remain in place for an additional 4 weeks between 8:30am and 5:30pm, as and when signed on site. The alternative routes will be as follows: Laburnum Lane via Liverpool Road, Warrington Road, Sandy Lane and vice versa. The restrictions are required for carriageway and footway surfacing. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
