ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (BURTONS ROAD) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2020
BURTONS ROAD, HAMPTON HILL

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 9 September 2020 made the above Orders under sections 9 and 10 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order is to introduce: -

(a) A banned left turn into Burtons Road from Uxbridge Road between 7am and 10am and between 4pm and 7pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive;

(b) A banned right turn into Uxbridge Road from Burtons Road between 7am and 10am and between 4pm and 7pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive;

(c) A prohibition of motor vehicles over proceeding in an eastbound direction on Burtons Road railway bridge between 7am and 10am on Mondays to Fridays inclusive;

(d) A prohibition of motor vehicles proceeding in a west bound direction on Burtons Road railway bridge between 4pm and 7pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive;

(e) A banned right turn into Park Road from Albert Road between 4pm and 7pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive;

(f) A banned left turn into Albert Road from Park Road between 7am and 10am on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

3. Copies of the Order which comes into force on 21 September 2020, a plan showing the location and effect of the Order and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 20/128, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices.

4. In pursuance of section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Assistant Director, Traffic and Engineering of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, as the specified officer, or some person authorised in that behalf by that officer may, if it appears to that officer or to that person essential in the interests of the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of traffic, or of the provision of suitable and adequate parking facilities on the highway, or for preserving or improving the amenities of the areas through which the roads affected by the Order runs, modify or suspend the Order or any provision thereof.

5. If the provisions of the Order continue in operation for a period of not less than six months, the Council will consider in due course whether the provisions should be reproduced and continued in force indefinitely by means of an Order under section 6 of the said Act of 1984. Persons wishing to object to or support the making of such an Order for the purpose of such reproduction and continuation in force may, within the period of six months referred to above (i.e. by 26 March 2021) send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds of that objection to the address below.

6. Please address any representations to this Order to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ, or email Trafficandengineering@richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk.

7. If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (RESTRICTED PARKING ZONE) [RICHMOND RIVERSIDE) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2020
RICHMOND RIVERSIDE, RICHMOND

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 9 September 2020 made the above Orders under sections 9 and 10 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order is to introduce a restricted parking zone, operating at all times on Richmond Riverside between Water Lane and Buccleuch Gardens, the effect being that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the restricted parking zone except for the purposes of loading or unloading or vehicles permitted by the Council.

3. Copies of the Order which comes into force on 21 September 2020, a plan showing the location and effect of the Order and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 20/119, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

SCHOOL STREETS - VARIOUS STREETS

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 9 September 2020 made the above Orders under sections 9 and 10 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order is to introduce School Streets in the lengths of roads and at the times specified the Schedule to this Notice. The lengths of roads detailed will be closed to vehicles, except for those exempted by the Council, on the days and times stated, during school term time.

3. Copies of the Order which comes into force on 21 September 2020, a plan showing the location and effect of the Order and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 20/129, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Waiting Restricitons Blandford Road, Teddington
(Reference 20/127)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Blandford Road, Teddington.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Blandford Road, from a point outside No. 55 Blandford Road to a point outside No. 93 Blandford Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 21 September 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 21 September 2020 until 5 October 2020 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Connaught Road and Mays Road, Teddington

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main and service pipe replacement, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Connaught Road and Mays Road, Teddington.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in: -

(a) Connaught Road; and

(b) Mays Road.

The works will be carried out on a rolling basis.
3. The order will come into effect on 7 September 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 7 September 2020 until 14 December

2020 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closures will be available, for the closure of Connaught Road, via High Street, Mays Road and King's Road and via High Street, Hampton Road and King's Road and for the closure of Mays Road via King's Road, Connaught Road, and Wellington Rod and via King's Road, Princes Road and Wellington Road.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Parking Suspension Amyand Park Road, Twickenham
(Ref: 20/058)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate building works to a school they have made a Temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce a parking suspension in Amyand Park Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place,

(a) no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Amyand Park Road on its south-eastern side, opposite No. 65 Amyand Park Road (2 bays);

(b) a skip will be permitted to stand on the school keep clear markings sited in Amyand Park Road on the south-east side, from a point

2 metres south-west of a point opposite the south-western kerb-line of Candler Mews, Twickenham south-westwards for a distance of 23 metres.
3. The order will come into effect on 14 September 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 14 September 2020 until 30 March

2021 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
