LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an order under Section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 as amended (the "Act") to authorise the stopping up of the following area of public highway which is shown double hatched black on the plan attached to the draft order:
(1) The area of the highway to be stopped up is the length of Romney Close, off Chalgrove Road, Tottenham, London N17 0NT from the beginning of the car parking spaces to the easternmost extent of the said Close comprising a maximum length of 21 metres and a maximum width of 8.5 metres.
IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised to enable the development described in the Schedule to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to the London Borough of Haringey on 10 March 2020 with planning reference HGY/2020/0183.
COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND THE RELEVANT PLANS MAY BE INSPECTED FREE OF CHARGE during the 28 days commencing on 9 September 2020 at the ground floor reception River Park House, 225 High Road, Wood Green, London N22 8HQ.
ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed order within 28 days commencing on 9 September 2020 by written notice to the Assistant Director of Corporate Governance, 7th Floor, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, London N22 7TR (quoting reference LEG/PP/ BXA/64359).
In preparing any objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.

Demolition of existing garages at Romney Close and erection of 3 new build Flats in a 3 storey block. 1 x 2-Bed 3-Person wheelchair accessible unit and 2 x 2-Bed 4-Person units. Erection of new bin store, bike store and services. Proposed new turning head for fire and refuse vehicles, with amended parking layout. Extensive new landscaping scheme over whole site.
