ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Connaught Road and Mays Road, Teddington
(Reference 20/124)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main and service pipe replacement, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Connaught Road and Mays Road, Teddington.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in: -

(a) Connaught Road; and

(b) Mays Road.

The works will be carried out on a rolling basis.
3. The order will come into effect on 7 September 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 7 September 2020 until 14 December 2020 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closures will be available, for the closure of Connaught Road, via High Street, Mays Road and King's Road and via High Street, Hampton Road and King's Road and for the closure of Mays Road via King's Road, Connaught Road, and Wellington Rod and via King's Road, Princes Road and Wellington Road.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure Sheen Lane, East Sheen

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works on behalf of Network Rail at Mortlake level crossing they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Sheen Lane, East Sheen.
2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed in Sheen Lane between its junctions with Palmerston Road and Sheen Gate Gardens.

3. Whilst Sheen Lane is closed, an alternative route for traffic will be via Palmerston Road, Temple Sheen Road, Upper Richmond Road West and Sheen Lane.

4. The order will come into effect at 11 pm on 8 September 2020. The works are anticipated to be in progress overnight from 11pm on 8 September 2020 until 6am on 9 September 2020 and at the same times for a further two consecutive nights until 6am on 11 September 2020. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Restrictions Cypress Avenue Area

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in the Cypress Avenue area.

2. Whilst the works take place,

(a) no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Cypress Avenue between its junction with Short Way and a point outside No. 4 Cypress Avenue;

(b) no person shall cause or permit aby vehicle to wait or stand in the following roads: -

- Hazel Close,

- Cypress Avenue,

- Redway Drive, and

- Short Way, (access road Palgrave House).

3. The order will come into effect on 27 August 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all ties from 27 August 2020 until 2 October 2020 only and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

Temporary Road Closure Hill Rise, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a new electrical connection, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Hill Rise, Richmond

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Hill Rise outside No. 47 Hill Rise.

3. The order will come into effect on 28 August 2020. The restrictions will be in force between 7pm on 28 August 2020 and 4am on 29 August 2020 only and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
