LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE GRANT OF A CLUB PREMISES CERTIFICATE
NETLEY ABBEY SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB, Hereby gives notice that it has applied to Eastleigh Borough Council for grant of a club premises certificate under part 4 of the licensing Act 2003, as follows: NETLEY ABBEY SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB 100 STATION ROAD NETLEY ABBEY SOUTHAMPTON SO31 5AJ
The application is for a club premises certificate for the following licensable activities: The supply of alcohol to members of the club (for consumption on the premises) The provision of regulated entertainment, consisting of
(a) a performance of a play
(b) an exhibition of a film
(c) an indoor sporting event
(d) a boxing or wrestling entertainment (e)aperformanceoflivemusic
(f) any playing of recorded music
(g) a performance of dance
(h) entertainment of a similar description to that falling within paragraph (e), (f) or (g), where the entertainment takes place in the presence of an audience and is provided for the purpose, or for purposes which include the purpose, of entertaining that audience.
The relevant licensing authority is Eastleigh Borough Council, and the statutory register may be inspected at the Licensing Office at the Civic Centre, Southampton SO14 7LY between 09:00 and 12:00 or between 14:00 and 16:00, Mondays to Fridays, or on the internet at licensing.eastleigh.gov.uk
Any representations by an interested party or a relevant authority must be made in writing to the Licensing Team, Southampton SO18 9LA so as to be received by them between the date of application and 20 clear working days after the application date.
Please note that it is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and, on summary conviction for the offence, a person is liable to a fine not exceeding level five on the standard scale (currently £5000).
