(Byway 45 (Wiggins Lane), Little Burstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Motor Vehicle & Horse Drawn Vehicle) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily prohibit motor vehicles & horse drawn vehicles from using Byway 45 (Wiggins Lane), Little Burstead in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Tye Common Road, north for approximately 860 metres.
The prohibition of motor vehicles & horse drawn vehicles is scheduled to commence on 24/08/2020 to 20/09/2020 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while surface improvement works are undertaken to the byway.
The alternative route for motor vehicles & horse drawn vehicles will be via Tye Common Road.
Access for emergency service vehicles, pedal cycles, horse riders and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the works. Access will also be permitted to properties on or adjacent to the Byway. The Order will come into effect on 24/08/2020 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Barling Road, Barling Magna) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Barling Road, Barling Magna in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 205m northeast of its junction with Barrow Hall Road for a distance of approximately 55m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th September 2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WBLR422R01 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Barling Road, Silchester Corner, Southend Road, Little Wakering Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 27th August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Barrow Hall Road, Barling Magna) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Barrow Hall Road, Barling Magna in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 80m west of its junction with Little Wakering Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th September 2020 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034841782 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Little Wakering Road, Southend Road, Silchester Corner, Silchester Corner Roundabout and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 27th August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Daws Heath Road, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Daws Heath Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford from a point approximately 120m southeast of its junction with Wyburns Avenue East for a distance of approximately 350m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th September 2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005DL1W000000PTMS89900 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Arterial Road, Progress Road, Rayleigh Road, Eastwood Road, Daws Heath Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 27th August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Church Road, Vange) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Vange in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 40m north of its junction with Osborne Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd August 2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (KL73350904303 -Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while vegetation cutting works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via Broadmayne,Westgate, Broadmayne Roundabout, Mopsies Roundabout, Timberlog Lane, Clay Hill Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 13th August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hart Road, Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Hart Road, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Cedar Road to its junction with Woodlow a distance of approximately 410m.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in that length of Hart Road, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Cedar Road to its junction with Woodlow a distance of approximately 410m.
The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 26th August 2020 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2295305 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while surface water alleviation works are undertaken by Essex County Council. "The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. An alternative route is available via Hart Road, Rayleigh Road, London Road, Kiln Road, Kenneth Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 13th August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Tye Common Road, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tye Common Road, Billericay in the District of Basildon, from a point approximately 150m south west of its junction with Wiggins Lane for a distance of approximately 220m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th August 2020 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWBKFJ08L001 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Tye Common Road, London Road, Laindon Road, Noak Hill Road Roundabout, Kennel Lane, Noak Hill Road, Laindon Common Road, Rectory Road, Clock House Road, Sudburys Farm Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 13th August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
