(Footpath 32, Halstead Urban) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the above Order made by Essex County Council, under s14
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has been continued in force with the consent
of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 28/02/2021.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 32, Halstead Urban in the
District of Braintree, from its junction with Footpath 21, Halstead Urban to its junction with
Footpath 10, Greenstead Green a distance of approximately 264 metres.
The alternative route will be via: Footpath 21, temporary footpath link to Footpath 10
and vice versa.
The closure commenced on 01/04/2019 and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while construction works are undertaken.
(Braintree Road, Sible Hedingham) (Temporary Introduction of 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 40mph speed limit in that length of Braintree Road, Sible Hedingham, in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Halstead Road to its junction with Starlings Hill a distance of approximately 1085m. The temporary speed limit is scheduled to commence on 4th September 2020 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2282401 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The temporary speed limit is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
The Order will come into effect on 21st August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(School Road, Little Yeldham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of School Road, Little Yeldham in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 345m northeast of its junction with Hyde Wood Road for a distance of approximately 110m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st August 2020 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W0010FEBEA4LQE21 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via School Road, North End Road, Hall Green, Sudbury Road, Lower Houses, Bulmer Street, Kitchen Hill, Bulmer Road, Ballingdon Hill, Bulmer Tye, Sudbury Road - Bulmer Tye -A131, Long Gardens, Catley Cross, Head Street, High Street, Hedingham Road, Halstead Road - A1124, Halstead Road, Queen Street, Potter Street, Swan Street, Yeldham Road, Crouch Green, Poole Street, Bridge Street, Leather Lane, Little Yeldham Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 21st August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(School Road, Little Yeldham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of School Road, Little Yeldham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Hydewood Road for a distance of approximately 80m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th September 2020 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010576514 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via School Road, North End Road, Hall Green, Sudbury Road, Lower Houses, Bulmer Street, Church Road, Bulmer Tye, Hedingham Road, Sudbury Road - Bulmer Tye-A131, Long Gardens, Catley Cross, Park Road, Head Street, High Street, Halstead Road, Braintree Road, Queen Street, Potter Street, Swan Street, Yeldham Road, Crouch Green, Poole Street, Bridge Street, Leather Lane, Little Yeldham Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 21st August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Tymperley Farm Road, Great Henny) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tymperley Farm Road, Great Henny in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 125m southwest of both junctions with Lamarsh Road for a distance of approximately 160m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th August 2020 for 1 day or where stated on a valid permit (BC005OP1W00000PTMS183939 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Tymperley Farm Road, Lamarsh Road, Lamarsh Hill, Twinstead Road, Loshouse Farm Road, Losh House Lane, Little Hickbush Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 7th August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
