ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Restrictions King Street, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate social distancing measures to protect the public as a result of the SARS-CoV-2 (coronavirusj pandemic, they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in King Street, Richmond
2. Whilst the Order remains in force, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in King Street from its junction with George Street to a point opposite the party wall of 11/12 King Street.
3. A diversion route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via George Street, The Quadrant, Kew Road, A316, Parkshot, Little Green and The Green
4. The restrictions will come into force on 20 August 2020, The Order will be in force between 18.00 and 22.00 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 20 August 2020 until 6 September 2020. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months.
5. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:
(a) any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
6. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Knowle Road, Twickenham
(Reference 20/116)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a sewer repair, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Knowle Road, Twickenham.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Knowle Road from its junction with The Green to a point 20 metres north of the junction.
3. The order will come into effect on 24 August 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 24 August 2020 until 11 September 2020 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via The Green and Colne Road.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Lambert Avenue, Ham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cleaning works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Lambert Avenue, Ham.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Lambert Avenue between a point outside No 75 Lambert Avenue and a point outside No 100 Lambert Avenue.
3. The order will come into effect on 24 August 2020. The restrictions will be in force between 9.30am and 3.30pm on 24 August 2020 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Manor Grove and Bicester Road.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
