In respect of

150A-170 Penwith Road and 2-8 Thornsett Road, Earlsfield, SW18 4QA

REASON FOR THE INQUIRY:

Appeal by Style and Space Contractors Ltd. against London Borough of Wandsworth decision to refuse planning permission for the following proposals:

Appeal A:

Demolition of existing buildings and erection of a part three, part four-storey, plus basement level building, to provide 1,233 sq.m. of retail (Class A1); 1,444 sq.m. of office (Class B1a); 1,415 sq.m. of light industrial (Class B1 c) and 221 sq.m. of storage and distribution (Class B8) floorspace, together with a new sub-station (Planning Inspectorate Reference: APP/ H5960/W/19/3235607)

Appeal B:

Demolition of existing buildings and erection of a part three, part four-storey plus basement level building to provide 1,246 sq.m. of retail (Class A1); 316 sq.m. of office (Class B1a); 617 sq.m. of light industrial (Class B1 c), 827 sq.m. of storage and distribution (Class B8) floorspace, and 17 residential units of both private and affordable tenure, with associated balconies and terraces, cycle parking provision and a new sub-station (Planning Inspectorate Reference: APP/H5960/W/19/3235608)

An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will decide the appeals by way of a public inquiry commencing on 1st SEPTEMBER 2020 at 11.00am, to be held as a virtual event, with participants invited to join via Microsoft Teams or telephone. Members of the public may obsserve the inquiry and, at the Inspector's discretion, express their views. Anyone wishing to attend must make their interest known to the Planning Inspectorate Case Officer as soon as possible before the inquiry by email to
