Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Bridleway 24, Donhead St Andrew; from its junction with Milkwell to its junction with Overway Lane to enable Replacement of 800m of water main within the highway to provide a more resilient service to local properties. Alternative routes: Overway Lane – Milkwell and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 17 August 2020 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for 16 weeks. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months.

Section 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to temporarily suspend the 7.5 Tone weight restriction to all traffic: B3089 (Part), East Knoyle; from its junction with A350 to its junction with A303 to enable Access to services during overnight A303 closures carried out by Highways England. The suspension will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 17 September 2020 and the suspension will be required between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 until 13 October 2020. A) A345 Castle Road (Part), Salisbury – Northbound Only; from its junction with A36 Churchhill Way West to its junction with Butts Road to enable Highways England to carry out carriageway crossing for cabling of new streetlighting infrastructure. Alternative route: via A345 (unaffected length) – A303 – A36 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 07 September 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 09 September 2020. B) Wain-A-Long Road (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with A36 for a distance of approximately 10 metres in an easterly direction to enable Highways England to carry out carriageway crossing for cabling of new streetlighting infrastructure. Alternative route (unsuitable for high vehicles): via Wain-A-Long Road (unaffected length) – Bourne Avenue - Riverside Road – Church Road – A30 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 September 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 16 September 2020. C) Glasses Lane, Sutton Mandeville; from its junction with A30 to its junction with Sutton Road to enable Wessex Water to carry out permanent reinstatement. Alternative route: via Sutton Road – Dean Lane – A30 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 September 2020 and the closure will be required for 1 day. D) West Street (Part), Great Wishford; from its junction with South Street for a distance of approximately 60 metres in a westerly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power distribution to carry out electricity pole relocation and associated works. Alternative route: via West Street (unaffected length) – Station Road – South Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 09 September 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 for 1 day. E) College Road (Part), Durrington; from its property know as Jasmine, College Road for a distance of approximately 45 metres in a southerly direction to enable SGN to carry out essential Gas works. Alternative route: via College Road (unaffected length) – B3085 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 17 August 2020 and the closure will be required until 21 August 2020. F) Overway Lane, Donhead St Andrew; from its junction with Milkwell to its junction with A30 to enable Wessex Water to install a new water main with associated works. Alternative route: via Milkwell – A30 and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on 17 August 2020 and the closure will be required until 27 November 2020.

The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.
