The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Alexandra Road, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2020 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Alexandra Road for a distance of approximately 60 metres. Alternative route: Clarendon Road, Hatters Lane, London Road, Pinions Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas new connection works take place commencing on 17 August 2020 between 08:00 and 18:00. Road will be closed for the duration of the works. Temporary parking restrictions from junction of Pinnions Road to outside No6 Alexandra Road. The proposed Order will come into operation on 17 August 2020, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

Alternative route: Chesham Road, Wiggington Road, Cholesbury Lane, Hawridge Hill and vice versa. The closure is required whilst electricity mains cable laying take place commencing on 14 August 2020 between 09:00 and 17:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 14 August 2020, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
